    • Events include: an art show, fishing derby, “Splash Bash” water party, night golf, salmon bake, movie in the park, pancake breakfast, car show, 5K run, fun zone for kids, 3-on-3 basketball, and more

    • Festivities culminate with a big parade and fireworks show on Saturday Aug 2

    • Most events are free

    • On Saturday Aug 2, enjoy free admission to select local attractions courtesy of Weber County R.A.M.P. (Recreation, Arts, Museums & Parks).

Arts & Culture

    • A western-themed art exhibition at Eccles Community Art Center (2580 Jefferson Ave).

    • Features paintings, sculpture, and artisan Western gear from artists around Utah and the region.

    • Open Monday–Friday 9 AM – 5 PM, Saturday 9 AM – 3 PM. The show runs through August 4 as part of Ogden Pioneer Days.

    • Admission is free.

    • Kick off Friday evening with a guided Historic 25th Street Walking Tour at 5:30 PM (starting at Union Station to learn about Ogden’s history.

    • Then from 6–9 PM, downtown galleries and art venues open their doors for the First Friday Art Stroll – a free monthly arts night featuring local artists, exhibit receptions, and live entertainment.

    • As part of the Art Stroll, check out the Community Visual Tiny Art Show at The Local Artisan Collective (Aug 1–2, 6–10 PM) showcasing mini artworks by community members.

    • The Weber County Library hosts Story Fiesta (bilingual storytime in English & Spanish) on Monday at 6:00 PM at the Main Library.

    • This family-friendly hour includes stories, songs, and activities celebrating Latinx culture.

Live Music & Nightlife

    • The popular summer concert series continues Wednesday, July 30 at Ogden Amphitheater (343 East 25th St) with indie rock band Band of Horses, plus openers Blind Pilot and Wet World.

    • Gates typically around 5 PM, music ~5:30–10 PM

    • Tickets required (Ogden Twilight shows often sell out).

    • Ogden’s Own Distillery hosts a summer music series on Friday nights.

    • This Friday (Aug 1) 6–10 PM features live music at the distillery’s outdoor venue – a laid-back 21+ atmosphere with craft cocktails

    • Country music fans can catch 90’s country star Jo Dee Messina live on Thursday, July 31 at 8:00 PM in Layton’s Kenley Amphitheater (approx. 20 minutes south of Ogden)

    • Part of Davis Arts Council’s summer concert series

Theater & Stage Performances

    • The beloved Broadway musical Annie is being presented by Ogden Musical Theatre at Peery’s Egyptian Theater.

    • The production runs from July 25 through August 2 with evening shows (7:30 PM) and a Saturday matinee (Aug 2 at 2:00 PM).

    • This high-quality local production features a large cast (and even a live dog playing Sandy)

    • Tickets are on sale at ogdenpet.com or the theater box office.

    • The Broadway Musical is on stage at The Amphitheater at Barker Park in North Ogden.

    • Final performances are Thursday, Friday, and Saturday (July 31, Aug 1–2) at 7:30 PM.

    • This is an outdoor community theater production by the Broadway On The Side theater company – bring lawn chairs or blankets.

Sports & Outdoor Recreation

    • Catch Ogden’s Pioneer League team at home all week!

    • The Raptors have an extended homestand July 29 – Aug 3 at Lindquist Field versus the Colorado Springs team.

    • Games Tuesday through Saturday start at 6:30 PM, and a Sunday matinee game starts at 1:00 PM.

    • Special deal: all tickets this week are just $5 general admission, thanks to a schedule change making this an extra home series.

    • It’s a fun, affordable night out for families or baseball fans.

    • See future PGA pros in action at the Utah Championship golf tournament, hosted at Ogden Golf & Country Club.

    • Tournament play runs Thursday July 31 through Sunday Aug 3.

    • Grounds passes for spectators are available (check utahchampionship.com for schedule and tickets).

    • This is a major stop on the Korn Ferry Tour and a chance to watch high-level golf close to home.

    • Drop by the Ogden Nature Center on Wednesday afternoon for a short and educational wildlife presentation.

    • This week’s theme (July 30, 3:45 PM) is “Revealing Reptiles”, a 20-minute program where naturalists introduce some of the center’s resident reptiles.

Family & Kids Activities

    • Monday, July 28 is Family Night at the Brigham City Pool from 5–8 PM.

    • It’s a bit of a drive (~30 minutes north of Ogden), but worth noting for an inexpensive evening swim.

    • One flat rate covers the whole family’s admission on Monday nights (check Brigham City pool for details).

    • The Local Artisan Collective (on Historic 25th Street) has some creative kids’ workshops this week

      • Mermaid Summer Art Camp (ages 6-12) runs mornings July 29–31

      • A one-day “Dragons and Castles” art camp is Thursday, July 31 at 10 AM

      • On Saturday Aug 2 they offer a Felted Succulents craft class at 10:30 AM

      • A fun jewelry-making activity (The Charm Bar) at 1 PM

    • Chocolate lovers, don’t miss this pop-up event at Queen Bee Giftery (270 25th St) on Tuesday, July 29 at 7:30 PM.

    • The Great Chocolate Roadtrip brings artisan chocolatiers to town – you’ll sample a variety of craft chocolates and hear the stories behind them.

    • Tickets/RSVP may be needed (check Queen Bee on social media). It’s a unique chance to indulge your sweet tooth while supporting small chocolate makers.
